A fresh role has just become available within the Quality team for an individual looking to join a growing business based in the design, development and manufacturing industries. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is ambitious and focused on developing their career as the company grows.

 

The Role

 

Working with a close-knit team of people, you will report to the Quality Manager and carry out internal audits which will ensure the ongoing compliance to ISO 13485 alongside other medical device regulations and help to manage and continuously improve the existing Quality Management System.

 

You will gain valuable experience with Supplier Management and Quality Control and provide business support where required. There will also be some Purchasing duties required, such as technical support of medical device products and manufacturing processes, contract negotiation, logistics management of parts and products, as well as liaising and developing relationships with new and existing suppliers.

 

The ideal fit for this role will be someone who is motivated by achieving goals and has a serious drive to succeed and exceed expectations across the board. You must be resilient, be able to quickly adapt to an ever-changing and demanding business environment and have an exceptional eye for detail to identify and solve any problems should they arise. Excellent communication skills are paramount as this will give you a fantastic opportunity to build a relationship of respect and trust with your peers as well as the client’s customers, collaborators and suppliers.

 

Essential Requirements

 

  • Educated to degree level (preferably in an Engineering field)
  • Two years’ experience working in an Engineering environment
  • ISO 13485 and/or ISO 9001 experience
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Proficient in MS Office
