Our client is investing in early stage research and insights to build our long-term pipeline and enable us to implement innovative disease and care pathways on behalf of customers and the patients we all serve. As this investment includes attracting top talent, the Research & Development department is recruiting for a Project Manager, reporting to our Program Manager. 

What you’re great at 
As a Project Manager you will deliver a high level of Inter-personal & process skills in Project Management. You will work as part of a multi-discipline team to define and deliver innovative new products to the market in an efficient manner. You will be team oriented and ensure that the team is performing at a high level, whist using state of the art tools and techniques to deliver on time and on budget. 

Be Vital 
As a Project Manager, you possess the vision to define and execute the plan with the team. You have a strong understanding of the New Product Development Process, holding a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent), with 5 years’ experience in a relevant field. Recognized Project Management qualifications or accreditations are preferred. In addition, you will possess great communication and negotiation skills with people at all levels. 

The Staff Project Manager is mentally strong to handle the demands of focused product development, specifically: - Project planning, Project Risk Management, Project Status Reporting and Remedial Action 

As a Project Manager, your typical day may include: 
• Overall responsibility to his/her Manager for the attainment of technical goals agreed in relation to project objectives with the appropriate level of guidance and within agreed deadlines. 
• You may be given responsibility for aligning the Project Team on Business Commitments such as Launch dates, Budgets and Resources. 
• Provide cover as required for other Project Managers. 
• Adhere to the company’s procedures as detailed in the SOP manual and other documentation. 
• Provide a world-class service to customers, both within and without R&D. 
• Creation of formal Project Plans with the Project Teams. 
• Project Status reporting and recording of Project Metrics. 
• Activities to improve the current processes of New Product Development. 
• Participation in and facilitation of face-to-face events with customers and stakeholders. 
• Ensuring that the participants are aware of their legal obligations under HCC and Nondisclosure; and that they acknowledged, when appropriate, that no fees are to be paid for their service. 

What you’ll own and how you’ll grow: 
You will assume the role of project leader and organise staff and other departments to achieve the successful introduction of new products, including: 

• You may handle several projects concurrently depending in the magnitude of each. 
• Meet delivery promise in terms of budget and timescales. 
• Work within a multi-discipline team, consisting of the R&D Development Group, Marketing, Quality, Operations, etc. 
• Progression to management of larger and more complex Programs.
