Our clients manufacturing plays a key role in the development and manufacture of new, sophisticated medical and industrial products. Working in multi-disciplinary team of R&D engineers is fully equipped with the latest computer-aided design and modelling technologies, to enable them to develop medical workstations and fluid management products & accessories, and industrial Remote Visual Inspection devices.

 

As group leader manufacturing, you will provide technical expertise, advice and guidance to the engineering group & production teams, providing adequate resource and expertise projects, production support and quality incident investigations effectively manage and communicate the activities being undertaken by the group

 

Taking responsibility for the project lead role on specific projects, you will assess viability of new processes and projects and conduct salary reviews and appraisals for group members.  Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of appropriate regulatory standards and participate in Continuous Improvement activities and conduct health & safety and process risk assessments as required.

 

Your Qualifications:

Degree/HNC (or equivalent) in a relevant Engineering discipline

Experience of leading engineering teams in a related environment

Familiarity with engineering processes and technical standards

Experience of introducing processes that follow lean principles

Experience of process validation

Good problem solving & analytical skills

Computer/IT literacy with Office tools, ERP systems and 2D/3D

Ideally from a medical devices background familiar with FDA regulation
