Responsibilities:

70% of time taken to undertake installations, Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) visits and repairs of company products. To take responsibility of specialist product ranges and manage ongoing faults.
30% of time for operational management of the engineering team.

  • Ensure installations are completed in timely fashion (by self and by team)
  • Perform PPM visits when required
  • Ensure compliance is maintained with recording and reporting of work accurately
  • Monitor and review feedback regarding service provided, implementing changes to drive up customer ratings
  • Work closely with Service Business Development role to improve service offering and processes
  • Monitor, mentor and manage engineers performance utilising tools provided by the company, through co-travel and regular reviews.
  • Any other duties, as required.

Qualification:

  • Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills
  • Ability to present information in a structured and balanced way
  • Can use standard applications to process, obtain and combine information such as mail merges, databases etc.
  • Experience in leading and managing a field service team
  • Minimum ONC in Electronics or equivalent essential
  • Previous experience with a field service role desirable
  • Excellent communication skills required
  • Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Willing to travel and occasionally work unsocial hours

Bond Testing Equipment, Eddy Current Inspection Equipment, Fluorescent Inspection Equipment (XRF products), Optical Inspection Equipment, Ultrasonic Inspection Equipment, Video Inspection Equipment (Videoscopes)
